Inflatable Rubber Boom:
The inflatable rubber boom is important device for emergent control of oil spill accidents,preventing spilled oil from diffusion and removing it from the polluted waters.It is widely used on the waters of open seas,harbors,wharfs,rivers,offshore oil drilling platforms,and during rush rescue of vessels.
Features of Inflatable Rubber Boom:
1． Two layers of hign-stength fiber cloth with super-quality synthetic rubber on its outer surface are used as its base,featuring good resistance to oil,abrasion,corrosion due to seawater and aging from ultraviolet radiation.
2． Specially designed air values with capabilities of fast inflation and excellent air tightness.
3． Elastic stifferens between air chambers ensure desirable above-water and submerged heights of the boom,resulting in better stiffness,thus effecively preventing wave overtopping and leakage.
4．Ether side of the fully symmetrical boom can be used for oil containment conveniently.
5． Smooth boom surface,easy to clean.
6． Effective draft can be guaranteed in case of a U-shaped oil containment using a well -streched ballast chain,which protects the boom body from rupture due to their different degrees of stretching.
7． Hydraulic power pack,inflating&deflating machine and hydraulically driven boom reel with braking device instakked in a container with front and rear doors for ease of operation are available as supporting equipment;furthermore,cleaning machines and other accessories can be supplied on request according to customer’s demand.
8． Luminous markings and various colors for the boom body can be selected for easier identifications.
9． Rubber booms with specific fire-retardant properties are available for stringent fire-fighting applications.
10． Accessories,such as towing heads,towing cables and anchorage bearings,can be supplied according to cusomers’ demands.
